Seville: Member of the Network of Industrial Cities of Andalusia

Industry is one of the main economic pillars of the city of Seville, which has 18 industrial zones with over 3,000 established companies. Leading sectors include the metal industry (such as aerospace and automotive), technology and knowledge-based industries, as well as those linked to clean energy.

Building on this strong industrial tradition, Seville recently became the 108th municipality to join the Network of Industrial Cities of Andalusia. This initiative, promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia, serves as a collaborative platform with local municipalities to promote industrial activity and job creation. A total of 20 municipalities from the province of Seville are already part of this network.

In Seville’s case, the city offers significant incentives to support industrial projects. These include tax reductions for companies setting up in local business parks, reductions in the construction, installation and works tax, the Economic Activities Tax (IAE), and fees for urban planning services. In addition, the City Council is streamlining administrative procedures and provides guidance and support to industrial investors and developers through its “Seville Open for Business” office.

Fibes, Seville’s Conference and Exhibition Centre, is the reference space for the development of major economic, cultural, social and professional events in the city.

A driving force for growth in Seville since 1989, Fibes is now the think tank venue for debating, reflecting and promoting innovative projects that build a greener and smarter future.

Fibes is located in the eastern part of the city, between San Pablo airport and Santa Justa train station.
